SKD maintains a transactional practice that represents its clients’  business interests both domestically and internationally. The Firm is typically involved with contract negotiations and drafting, joint ventures,  licensing, intellectual property rights and regulatory matters. In addition to the legal side of this representation, SKD prides itself in the understanding of its client’s business and as such, often takes on a business role in the negotiation of deals, and the formulation of business strategy.  Often, SKD finds itself acting in the capacity of “outside” General Counsel for those clients it represents.  SKD’s transactional practice is diverse, including sports and entertainment, transportation and tourism,  computer software and intellectual property licensing.
